Oct 13, 2016 · The Witches is definitely a bit on the scary side and probably not appropriate for very young children.But older kids will find much to appreciate about this tale of a young boy and his friend who are turned into rats by a group of witches staying at the same hotel as they.
Some think appropriate horror for children is goosebumps, while others think slashers are ok. I would watch The Thing, new and old. Some foul language in both, human and alien blood/gore but nothing crazy. The Cave or Descent are newer movies that are acceptable. The Burrowers is safe from what I remember, great movie.
